About SciVolume
Writing a scholarly book should not be a lonely slog.
SciVolume is a workspace for writing books with AI. Researchers, teachers, professional authors, anyone with a serious book to write, can start from a title, a set of papers or an old manuscript: the AI plans the outline, drafts chapter by chapter, inserts citations, draws figures and translates, while you judge and decide.
Why we are building it
Papers have a mature toolchain; books do not. A book runs to a hundred thousand words, hundreds of citations and dozens of figures, more than Word and a reference manager can hold together.
General-purpose AI writing tools invent references and do not understand chapters, captions and equations, the very structure a scholarly book is made of.
We wanted a workbench, not a black box: every AI change arrives as a suggestion, citations can only come from sources you approved, and the export is a manuscript your publisher can open.
